Enware Australia has been selected as a finalist in the manufacturing category of the Premier’s NSW Export Awards for its contribution to the Australian manufacturing industry.
Headquartered at Caringbah, Enware has more than trebled its employment in a decade, building a team of more than 190 people committed to insight and design driven solutions that enhance safety and performance. This philosophy has recently resulted in Enware’s largest ever export order to Saudi Arabia’s $US10.8 billion Ma’aden Aluminium project.
The NSW Export Award recognises the valuable contribution exporters make to the Australian economy through job creation, and increased community prosperity.
“As an Australian company that’s continued to grow, despite a tough economic environment, it’s rewarding to get this kind of recognition and it couldn’t have been achieved without the hard work and dedication of the whole Enware team,” said Enware Managing Director, Mr Adam Degnan.
Chief Operating Officer of the Export Council of Australia Lisa McAuley said they understand that many companies need to look off shore to expand their current operations. With an increase in Free Trade Agreements we are seeing more opportunities for Australian exporters so recognition programs are key in helping companies achieve the credibility they deserve in the international market.
Enware is particularly proud of its largest ever export order, which involved more than 700 of its Australian designed and manufactured emergency safety showers along with associated safety equipment. These were exported to Korean based Design, Construct and Engineering company Hyundai for Ma'aden's joint venture with Alcoa, which from this year will become the largest and most efficient vertically integrated aluminium complex in the world.
Mr Degnan says the supply of the custom-designed safety technology to Hyundai is a wonderful vote of confidence that could lead to further export opportunities for Enware, which already exports a range of products to 15 countries.
Enware embodies a typically Australian can-do attitude and focuses on delivering specialist products with fully integrated supply chain capabilities and ISO quality control certifications.
Enware remains 100% Australian owned and managed and has expanded into international markets like The Middle East, South East Asia and Europe.
Following its philosophy of custom-designed specialist quality products, Enware has pursued a programme of offering class design and engineering, strong response to customer needs, innovative problem solving, efficient delivery and competitive pricing.
